Ecolab Inc. continued its commitment to supporting communities in need
throughout 2017 by providing 665 tons of cleaning, sanitizing and public
health products, valued at more than $5 million, to support natural
disaster relief efforts throughout the world.
“There are many needs immediately after a natural disaster occurs,
including the need for cleaning and sanitizing products to help protect
people and speed restoration of the community,” said Kris Taylor, Ecolab
vice president of Community Relations. “When a natural disaster occurs,
we quickly mobilize our product resources to assist those who need them
most.”
Through partnerships with non-profit organizations, Ecolab’s products
supported relief efforts in areas affected by natural disasters in North
and South America, Europe and Asia.
“For more than 19 years, World Emergency Relief has been proud to work
with Ecolab to provide cleaning, sanitizing and public health products
to those in need,” said Kristy Scott, CEO of World Emergency Relief.
“Ecolab’s commitment to helping communities during their most difficult
times is remarkable.”
